Gary Moss_Avoid the Maze_Diabetes_7_17_21

My brother Gary Moss was diagnosed with Diabetes 20+ years ago and he has been struggling with this disease - as a Type 2 Diabetic, he has been using insulin and other drugs to keep his blood sugar as close to normal without causing any organ damage that may add additional chaos to his life.  COVID brought him closer to his struggle and being somewhat dormant and feeling depressed - just like many healthy individuals, he found himself eating the wrong foods causing him HIGHS and lows in his blood sugar which is dangerous to his condition.  Gary had been actively working part-time before the Pandemic as well as hosting his Scrabble Club and traveling close by to his Southern California home playing at other Clubs and Tournaments.  However, when everything got shut down, he too shut down...  It is not time to discuss this disease that millions have to deal with despite there is no one-size-all-fits answer - In his podcasts, he shares his struggles in the hope to find answers although before trying anything you may hear - check with your medical team.  Join us and share - Karen - newclevelandradio.net

Today Doug Wilber and I (Karen Hale) had a conversation about COVID, The Vaccines, and a sense of returning to a more normal lifestyle once vaccinated. Not everyone will be vaccinated a choice of their choosing, but those of us that make the choice are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Regrouping with family and friends with a lower risk factor than we have seen in 12+ months. It is important to gather all the facts and make your choice wisely...
