2008 What a Challenge

2007 ended with Alex being accepted at Akron U and into the School of Music. Some said he would never make it in high school and yet he has proven the doubters wrong, he is on his way to a career in music and communications. If Alex has his dream come true he a professional vocalist, watch for his Plantinum Album.

Alex was able to share his good news and fortunate with his grandmother just weeks before she died. Alex and his Gran had a very special relationship. She worried about him and how his Autism would affect his life but she did see the potential behind the clouded eyes.

2007 was a good year for us, Rich is still working at what e likes to do, teaching and directing the Computer Technology Department at Vatterott College. He is still repping Epson Printers on the weekend and we are growing our photo business, Memories-2-DVD.com

I am very happy working at Bryant & Stratton College, I am the High School Admissions Rep and it is very rewarding! I tease my co-workers, I am the oldest rep but I work with the youngest students. I too am enjoying our photography business and I hope we can continue to grow it.

My mom is doing well and will ceebrate her 22nd birthday (born Feb 29, 1920) next month. We are going to Detroit to celebrate with her from the Westcoast and Eastcoast and all points inbetween.

Steve got his business up and running go see rogomo.com

Feb 1 & 2 is Alex's big performance with Music in Motion, "We Will Rock You!" Hope you will all join us, contact me for tickets. I'm the ticket chair!

We are looking forward to May 31 when Alex graduates and moves on to college. We will keep you posted as he deals with his Autistic Challenges and makes a successful life for himself.

Doug Wilber_Care Notes_Discussing Vaccines 4_28_21

All podcasts are designed to assist and aid listeners to meet their challenges in life. We are here to support each other... Today Doug Wilber and I (Karen Hale) had a conversation about COVID, The Vaccines, and a sense of returning to a more normal lifestyle once vaccinated. Not everyone will be vaccinated a choice of their choosing, but those of us that make the choice are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Regrouping with family and friends with a lower risk factor than we have seen in 12+ months. It is important to gather all the facts and make your choice wisely...
